New(ish) news

Due to reasons entirely beyond my control, the site hadn't updated for almost a week. Turns out that ComicGenesis' site got hacked and they were trying to work things out. That's okay though, because now you have 6 new strips all at once!April 22, 2009
Last night I won Second Place and $250 with my comic at the first annual YBEX Awards. Among those I talked to were the mayor and country singer Codie Prevost. A big thank you to everyone who helped take part in this! I'll be thinking of ways to use the money towards the site and making it get even more noticed.April 14, 2009

There's two ways you can intrepret today's joke. The first, and most obvious, is that Parrot is expecting the whistle to make a sound and then realize it doesn't. But actually, the joke is that parrots have beaks, not lips, and can't actually blow the whistle in the first place. Just something I thought my two readers would like to know.July 22, 2008
